Goats!! lol...sorry, I have issues with goats (and sheep) but they can be handly little buggers:) I actually boarded off a lady who said that every horse barn should have a goat because if a new horse comes in sick the goat will get the virus first... I have no idea if that is true or not... but it (might be) another thing goats are useful for!

Goats! I can work about two hours first thing in the morning, then I'm done in, and done for the day.
Good luck with the goats! We inherited three back in Montana, when we took over care-taking a dude ranch. They used to climb all over the guests' cars--invariably the newest, shiniest, most expensive one!EvenSonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02032555334605790413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5899388425248595265.post-41592505974447674542009-08-03T04:03:59.440-07:002009-08-03T04:03:59.440-07:00Got a blackberry vine problem, do you?Got a blackberry vine problem, do you?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5899388425248595265.post-72800936792535070272009-08-03T00:27:36.487-07:002009-08-03T00:27:36.487-07:00Ah! They have never tried to escape. Actually we have only had one escape ever, when we were given 2 pretty much untamed goats, my other half went to catch one and he jumped the fence! Now they are completely tamed and we do not have that problem anymore!
And yes, goats eat about everything. Be careful if you have trees around that you do want to keep alive. They will skin the tree, literally. I think every tree in our pasture has been de-barked. We used to put chicken wire around the trees to keep them off of them in another pasture, but never got around to it in the pasture they are in now.
Have fun with your goats! They are characters!Paint Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05095673661149903754noreply@blogger.com
