LEFT HAND  

Hill.                                      hold up fist

Goat.                                    hold up pointer finger

Goat came down                 lower finger, lower fist

Crossed the bridge             “crawl” pointer finger in front of body

Ate the grass                       pointer finger wiggles to show eating

Went back.                          return fist and finger upright.

 

RIGHT HAND  

Hill.                                      hold up fist

Goat.                                   hold up pointer finger

Goat came down                lower finger, lower fist

Crossed the bridge           “crawl” pointer finger in front of body

Ate the grass                       pointer finger wiggles to show eating

Went back.                        return fist and finger upright.

 

 

 

ONE DAY

 

BOTH HANDS  

Hill.                                      hold up fists

Goat.                                   hold up pointer fingers

Goat came down                lower finger, lower fists

Crossed the bridge            “crawl” pointer finger in front of body

 

LEFT HAND goat            wiggle finger to show speaking

“Hey!  Get out of my way!”

 

RIGHT HAND goat         wiggle finger to show speaking

“Hey, get out of MY way!”

 

Finger goats argue, fight, both fall in the river: SPLASH!

BOTH HANDS

Goat came down                        lower finger, lower fists

Crossed the bridge                   “crawl” pointer finger in front of body

 

LEFT HAND goat                    wiggle finger to speak

Hey!  Let me make room for you!”

 

RIGHT HAND goat                 wiggle finger to speak

“Hey, let ME make room for YOU!”

 

Fingers pass each other on the bridge, eat, return.
