In which I'm tired after time in camp, so here's a nice photo dump

Back on the Renegade trail where we belong

The mug reads "If Grandpa can't fix it, we're all screwed."  This is a true thing.

Gail installs "Burma-shave"-esque jingles along the trail

Marking the blue loop

Out on the Raspberry Loop.  This meadow used to be a forest.

The big creek crossing.  She just strides on through.

Andrea (from the Cross-State Ride!) came to ride at Renegade!

Andrea's horse Max was pulled lame--probably an abscess.  She takes good care of this horse.

Susie (also from the Cross-State ride!) came to Renegade, and she finished 6th!
There was a lot of hot competition at the ride this year, especially on the LD.

Sue (holding the quilt, photo right) made this for Gail and Mike.
The blocks are made from t-shirts that were awards at their rides--especially Renegade.

The new ride manager at Renegade declared a "flag" theme for the event,
and many people took the suggestion to an extreme.  Of course.

Some outfits are more extreme than others.

Over in Pirate's Cove, our flags are a bit different.

Jenny shows off the shirt for this year--tank top!  Her horse Tucker shows off his "mash nose".
UPDATE: Tucker ran away from camp the day after the ride, trying to catch up with his herd-mate.
UPDATE #2:    FOUND!

The Dragon's version of "mash nose."

Here's an update on the trailer repair that Jim worked on last week:
the rusted spots are fixed, and new mats are secure!

Creating a shady spot in camp for the dogs is always a challenge.  Here's my latest hack.

Close-up of the trailer-tarp hack:  the tarp is held securely in place by small but very strong magnets!

Dust on the lens, but you can still see how shady and cool the trailer interior is on a hot day!

Then, I stuck a pirate flag to the trailer nose with extra magnets!
